With inspiration from the Danish coasts, we have created a Nordic design with a focus on recycling plastic where we have added innovative products of very high quality to pamper your hair. Many of the ingredients are collected from nature and most of the products are produced at our own facilities in Sweden. And as an extra bonus, all care products are vegan.

N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) is another hair bond builder that has been used for many years in hair care products and is a key ingredient in IdHAIR Niophlex. NAC is an amino acid that contains a thiol group, which is reactive with disulfide bonds in the hair. Like BADDS, NAC can form covalent bonds with hair proteins, which helps to strengthen and repair hair fibers. NAC effectively reduces hair breakage and improves the hair's overall health. Both BADDS and NAC have been shown to be effective hair bond builders, but they work slightly differently. BADDS works by cross-linking disulfide bonds, while NAC works by forming covalent bonds with hair proteins. The choice of which to use may depend on the specific hair care product and the desired outcome. It's important to note that the effectiveness of these ingredients will also depend on their concentration in the product and how they are formulated with other ingredients.

Allergic reactions to fragrance are becoming increasingly more frequent. We don’t believe that fear of a reaction should prevent you from styling your beautiful hair with fantastic products. This is why we have created the IdHAIR Sensitive Xclusive range of gentle styling products especially suited to sensitive skin. Why Do Allergic Reactions From Hair Products Occur? Allergic reactions from hair products can range from mild to severe and can include skin rashes, itching, hives, and even swelling. The most common allergens in hair products are fragrances, preservatives, and dyes. Fragrances: A common allergen found in hair products, are made up of hundreds of chemicals and can be very irritating to the skin. Fragrances can also cause contact dermatitis, which is an itchy, red rash caused by the skin’s reaction to an irritant. Preservatives: These are added to hair products to help extend their shelf life, and can also cause allergic reactions. These are usually formaldehyde-releasing preservatives, which are known to be allergenic as well as carcinogenic. Dyes: Another potential allergen in hair products is dye and it can contain a variety of chemicals. These chemicals can be very irritating to the skin, causing a reaction.
